José Carreras and Diva Opera. Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

The challenge was to create a decoration on a scale unprecedented in Neuchatel’s flagship theatre. But, to avoid allergy problems amongst the performers, this had to be done without flowers. The search for an ideal solution took Karin to London, to draw inspiration from an exclusive Knightsbridge hotel.

Back in Switzerland, Karin designed and commissioned 16 perspex columns to house the spectacular arrangements of red and pink ginger flowers, decorating the stage wings, reception areas and even the exterior of the theatre itself.
